Returns & Exchanges
You can return or exchange items within 7 days of receiving them, for example if the size does not fit.
Conditions for Return
Returned goods must:
- be unused
- be returned clean and complete
- be in the original packaging
- be fully functional and undamaged
Please inspect the goods immediately after receipt. Complaints or return requests can only be considered within the 7-day period.
Important Before Any Return
Please always contact our customer service before sending any item back.
Returns sent without prior notice may cause additional costs, which must be covered by the customer.
The return address may vary depending on the product. You will receive the correct return information after contacting our support team.
Costs & Conditions
Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Handling Fee for Refunds
For returns, a handling fee of 10% of the order value will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee does not apply in the case of an exchange, for example due to an incorrect size.
For payments made via PayPal or other payment providers, additional transaction or payment fees may apply. In the case of returns without exchange, these fees may partially be deducted from the refund. Our support team will transparently inform you about any applicable costs.
Payment Fees
Already incurred payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Shipping Costs
If the order value falls below CHF 45.00 after returned items are deducted, the original shipping costs will be charged retrospectively.
Items Excluded from Returns
The following items are excluded from the right of return:
- Sale and outlet items
- Discounted products
- Clearance items
- Pre-orders or custom-made orders produced specifically for customers
- Used/second-hand items
Complaints & Warranty
For warranty claims or complaints, please contact our customer service first.
For complaints, we require the following information:
- Order number
- Photos and/or videos of the damage
- For SUPs: the board serial number (printed on the side of the board)
- A short description of the issue
After reviewing the complaint, our customer service team will inform you about the next steps. It will then be decided whether the product must be returned or whether another solution can be offered.
Purchases Through Retailers
If the product was not purchased directly through our website, the complaint or warranty process must be handled directly through the respective retailer.
Separate warranty and service agreements apply to retailers. Therefore, the retailer is independently responsible for handling the complaint or warranty case.
Warranty Conditions
- Standard warranty: 24 months
- For direct orders placed via mintlama.ch for MINT LAMA products: 24 + 12 months warranty (from 01.01.2024)
- Third-party brands are excluded from the additional warranty.
Whether a warranty claim is valid will be determined by the manufacturer or importer.
Warranty Does Not Apply In Cases Of:
- Improper use
- Unauthorized repair attempts
- Incorrect assembly
- Normal wear and tear
- Used or clearance items
